5 Insanely Good Horror Shows Perfect For Fall Now on Streaming

Though it doesn't feel like the end of September with temps still in the high 90s for most of us, it's been a little hard to get into the Fall mood. But October is just around the corner and nothing puts me in the Fall mood more than a good TV show to binge, especially one that has the Fall vibes. Here are five TV shows you can go binge right now on streaming that will be sure to give you that Fall boost you're looking for. 

Widow's Bay Apple TV

Now an Emmy award winning show, Widow's Bay is the perfect Fall show to take a deep dive in. Set on a small, New England island town that is plagued by a centuries-old curse, we follow the town's mayor, Tom, as he desperately tries to make the town a place for tourists. But it seems the island has its own agenda. 

Grimm Peacock, The Roku Channel

The mid 2000s aesthetic coupled with the Portland, Oregon setting, this show has all the Fall vibes you'll need and plenty of seasons to keep you occupied until the weather starts to match. Now, this one is as procedural as it gets so if that's not your bag, then you might want to skip it. Nick is a detective who has the ability to see supernatural creatures as a Grimm, a line of guardians who is sworn to keep the balance between humanity and mythological creatures. Feels somewhat like the OG Charmed but in a different vessel. 

Tales from the Crypt Tubi, AMC+

Nothing says Fall or Halloween season like the iconic show, Tales from the Crypt. There are seven seasons of stories that scare you, make you laugh, and honestly, comfort you with that good old nostalgia. There's not much else to say about it but get to watching!

IT: Welcome to Derry HBO Max

As one of the best horror shows on TV in the past few years, IT: Welcome to Derry takes a deep dive into what IT is and deepens the lore of the films. Following a group of kids who are being tormented by Pennywise and his antics, they work together to destroy him once and for all. There is already a season two in coming soon so it's okay to give this first season a go. 

Lovecraft Country HBO Max

In a space dominated by white stories, it's refreshing to relish in the Black gothic adventures of Lovecraft Country. Following Atticus and Letitia as they travel across the US in the 1950s, the duo uncovers that there is more to the world than they knew. This show gives Fall and horror perfectly.
