Fantastic Fest returns for its 19th year in Austin, Texas taking place from September 19 through September 26th. This year's Fantastic Fest features genre films with 28 world premieres, 23 International and North American premieres, and 15 U.S. premieres. Visit Fantastic Fest for details and passes.
The Fantastic Fest lineup is epic this year. Some major highlights for horror include Terrifier 3, Never Let Go, Apartment 7A and V/H/S Beyond.

Fantastic Fest also features a shorts program that highlights short films from 6 continents and 38 countries, 40% of which are by women filmmakers.
“We had a tremendously competitive selection process for this edition, with a record-breaking number of submissions, up more than 22% compared to last year. We have had the pleasure of watching so many incredible films, but that also meant we had to make tough choices to get to the final 59,” said Short Film Program Director Jean Lauer. “We are elated to showcase 16 World Premieres and 7 projects with a direct connection to Texas. We can’t wait to share this year’s unforgettable lineup with Fantastic Fest fans in Texas and around the world.”

In an effort to reconnect, they rent a scenic lakeside property for the weekend on the aptly named Bone Lake. As they settle in, Will and Cinn bound through the door. Realizing the house has been double-booked, the two couples decide to make the best of things and spend their weekend together.
